Please read this policy carefully to understand how cancellations, renewals, and refunds are handled on Oscorm.
Last Updated: October 14, 2026
Welcome to Oscorm. It is an online freelancing marketplace that connects clients with independent freelancers for professional services. Our platform may provide subscription-based features, AI-powered talent matching, proposal promotion, project milestones, payment facilitation, and dispute-resolution tools.
This Policy must be read together with Oscorm’s Terms of Service, applicable project agreements, and payment-provider terms. If a provision conflicts with a non-waivable legal right, the applicable law will control.
Users may cancel their paid subscriptions through the cancellation option in their Oscorm account settings or through another legally compliant cancellation method provided by Oscorm.
For subscriptions subject to California's Automatic Renewal Law, online enrollment must be accompanied by a legally compliant online cancellation method. Cancellation must be available without unnecessary steps, unreasonable delay, or mandatory contact with a representative when prohibited by law.
Oscorm will provide any additional cancellation methods, notices, and disclosures required by applicable law.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise or the checkout terms expressly provide a different lawful arrangement:
Oscorm will provide confirmation of cancellation through an appropriate electronic method.
Users are responsible for canceling before the next scheduled renewal if they do not wish to continue their subscription.
If a renewal charge occurs after a valid cancellation or without the legally required authorization, the user may contact Oscorm Support for investigation and an appropriate remedy.
Oscorm will provide legally required renewal reminders, price-change notices, and other subscription communications where applicable.
Canceling a subscription and receiving a refund are separate processes.
Except where required by law, expressly provided in the applicable purchase terms, or approved following a review of the circumstances:
Users may request a refund for duplicate charges, billing errors, unauthorized transactions, qualifying technical failures, or other circumstances warranting review.
All refund requests will be assessed under the applicable purchase terms and legal requirements. Nothing in this Policy excludes a refund or other remedy that applicable law requires.
Users should promptly report any suspected unauthorized charge, duplicate transaction, incorrect subscription fee, or other billing discrepancy.
Oscorm will review the report and, where appropriate, coordinate with the relevant payment provider.
A report does not automatically guarantee a refund. Any adjustment will depend on the facts, the applicable terms, payment-provider requirements, and applicable law.
Users may also have separate rights to dispute charges through their payment provider or financial institution.
Oscorm may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account in accordance with its Terms of Service, including in cases involving fraud, misuse, security concerns, or material policy violations.
Where an account is suspended or terminated, access to subscriptions, points, and platform features may be affected as permitted by the applicable terms and law.
Any remaining project funds, unused purchased points, or subscription fees will be handled according to the applicable agreements and legal requirements.
Account termination does not automatically eliminate accrued payment obligations or non-waivable refund rights.
Oscorm will administer subscriptions, cancellation requests, and refunds in accordance with applicable U.S. federal, state, and local laws.
Where California's Automatic Renewal Law applies, Oscorm will comply with applicable requirements concerning clear and conspicuous disclosures, affirmative consent, cancellation methods, and required renewal or price-change notices.
Additional consumer-protection, electronic-commerce, payment, and contract laws may apply depending on the user's location and the nature of the transaction.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive, restrict, or replace any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
Oscorm may revise this Policy to reflect changes in its services, pricing, payment arrangements, or legal obligations.
Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. The current version will be published on the Oscorm website with its effective date and last-updated date.
